Overall responsibility of flight is on Captain, Co-pilot position is an assistant to captain
Co-pilot helps captain when needed and as directed by captain, beginner has to start as Co-pilot and after experience they can sit on captain's position
Charter pilots, Crop dusters and flight instructors are some specializations in the Commercial Aviation industry
Some pilots also fly planes specifically for firefighters and aerial photographers
